Spirit of Horse Gallery
- There are those of us who are mysteriously drawn to horses, as if in some ancient time or place, we have experienced their true nature, and we recognize them at some deep level of our consciousness.
For some of us, we recognize this connection at an early age. From the time we can function as a conscious being, we hearken to the horses as a beacon, a homecoming, an unspoken longing for something we can't define. For these people, horses are in their earliest expressions, their wishes, their words, and horses appear in their own early childhood drawings.
Other people experience this unspoken attraction sometimes later in life. They may become aware that the horse means something very important to them, if they only knew what it was. If these people don't encounter horses, many of them only become aware of these feelings when their emotions are triggered by images of horses in movies, photographs, or works of art. Many of these people cannot define the meanings behind their feelings, and if their lifestyle doesn't include a way to be with a horse, they relegate the desire to a fantasy and put it in a forgotten corner of their heart.
Then there are those of us who become involved with real horses. You would think that being with horses would answer these riddles and fulfill all parts of the longing that is in us. Yet the real horse is often more of an enigma than imaginary ones, and being in their presence only enhances the awe and mystery by which we regard them. A testimony to this is the centuries of mankind's depiction of the horse in art and literature.

The Golden Wood Studio
- The Golden Wood is my favorite painting from The Twelve Dancing Princesses and was the inspiration for the name of my studio. To me the image embodies the world of the fairy tale in all its magical richness, reflecting back to us the truth of our inner landscapes. It depicts a journey, a rite-of-passage into adulthood. - Vladstudio is the project of Russian digital artist Vlad Gerasimov. In 1998 I started to design user interfaces for web sites and software applications. However, when I had some free time, I created desktop wallpapers. Over the time, this hobby has grown into business, and today I enjoy full-time self-employment, creating wallpapers for your computers and mobile devices. I love what I do, and I am happy that many people around the world love it, too!

Wayward Harper
- Inspiration can stream from many sources. For Nadia it has been the influence of the art of the Surrealists, the Pre-Raphaelites, traditional folk art, various children's books, and of course, music. More specifically the music of the Celtic Harp and all the mythology and folklore associated with it.
She has chosen art as a means of exploring her world and giving life to the various beings that inhabit it.
Currently working as a freelance Illustrator in Melbourne, Nadia completed her studies in Illustration at NMIT and has exhibited in several group shows.
Melbourne artist and illustrator, Nadia Turner works in several mediums, including acrylic on wood and canvas, ink and watercolor, paper and textile collage. Her influences stream from many areas, from the art of the surrealists, especially that of Remedios Varo and Leonora Carrington, the Pre-Raphaelites, traditional folk art, various children’s books and of course, ancient myth, symbolism and legends. “I am fascinated by other worlds and other cultures. In my work I am trying to capture a moment in a characters life and evoke a sense of otherworldliness. Just like when you look at an old photograph, I want you to wonder….. who are these creatures?......what worlds do they live in?...and what are their dreams?”
